Campground offers direct access to miles of scenic hiking pathway as well as Off-Road Vehicle trail.

Fishing: Jackson Lake (on site): Smallmouth Bass, panfish.
Clear Lake (3 miles NE): Smelt, Smallmouth Bass, panfish.
Rush Lake (4 miles NE): Smallmouth Bass, panfish.
Hiking: Clear Lake/Jackson Lake: 7.5 miles of rolling to hilly terrain along interpretive trail connecting Clear Lake to Jackson Lake. High Country: Over 80 miles of varied terrain connecting 9 State Forest Campgrounds winding through scenic back country.
Designated Watchable Wildlife Site: Pigeon River Country Elk Range is home to the largest free roaming elk herd east of the Mississippi River. Several elk viewing sites have been established although the elk can be seen throughout the area. Best viewing times are in September as well as late April through early May.
Off-Road Vehicle Trails/Routes: Atlanta ATV Trail: 82 miles of cycle/ATV trail. Brush Creek Route: 35 miles of full-sized vehicle ORV route.
